obama illusion

April 15, 2008 at 12:58 am (Uncategorized)

There is imaginary conflict once more. First there was the attempt to pretend that Obama’s views were identical to the pastor of his church.   When you think about it, who can ever say that??!!   Keep in mind that these were views that had been horribly distorted by fox news. Now they are saying that Obama is out of touch with the electorate and is a member of the elite. !!!   This from two people who are each worth more than $100 million, Clinton from all the backyard and book deals and McCain from knowing just who to marry.   From this individual perspective, the result may not be what they desire, because in my lifetime, I will NEVER vote for a Clinton or a McCain.   It’s just too dirty.   I guess I will have to take a look at Nader’s platform.

Looks like you’re having fun, keeping up with the political arena these days. I too have found myself dumping out my thoughts literally at anyone who cares to listen.

I’d like to express a little about the Reverend Jeremiah Wright from a Black person’s perspective, with compassion also of whites.

Reverend Wright appeared on CNN this week. His objective was to clear his career, integrity, religion and accomplisments, as he spoke of the diversity involving white vs. black being different as suppose to deficient. He said he felt it necessary to speak out because he felt he had been mocked as a lunetic by the media and needed to publicly clarify the man he is, he also said the media began to talk about his “mamma” as he said “Nobody talks about my mamma” :>)

He gave an interesting and educating life autobiography of himself, as he spoke of his career as a veteren, his achievements and many scholistic and theological degrees.

Ok, I said he’s not the lunetic the media displayed afterall…ok Rev. you made your point. The major problems hit the fan when the Reverend was back on television again answering questions on other shows, this was overwhelming. I I became upset….I saw the ego in this man as I had saw in others who cannot handle power or fear of retiring.

I think the Reverend could have respectfully thanked those that invited him on their show and declined. However, his ego dominated the character that people look for in a pastor, or any man of God that is looked upon to be a man that should be of the image of God…instead his ego took over, and of course he affirmed how flawed man is. No matter what collers they wear or titles they’ve earned, which prooved he was a man character by those achievements he still felt it necessary the need to proove something…

Within 24 hrs of the day their true character will reveal itself at some point.

It angered me that he didn’t care how his appearance on national tv throughout the week would affect Barack’s campaign, which in turn affects the very thing the Reverend should stand for being their for the people which is what Barack is trying to do.

All I can say is the Reverend took the bate from Satin…the media….he should have been still, the Bible says, Peace be still….that’s what God said in Psalms….91 “He who dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Many of the Reverend’s pastor mentors begged him to be quiet….

I also didn’t agree with the Reverend when he said that black churches were at stake. My pastor never has commented on political views, our members attend church to worship and execute principles by which is stated in our bible, more specific the ten commandments, Beattitudes and Psalms 1:23. People get it mixed up all the time and it sets off confusion, which is why I think church and state should remain seperate.

    Ok, enough out of me…..

p.s.. maybe the LADY sitting next to him “Eve” made him do it. :>))) I understand she is a supporter of Hillary Clinton…I wonder what did she promise him…ok, I hope I made you laugh…..

    God Bless….
